By airplane: daily flights form Helsinki to Joensuu, Kuopio or Kajaani Airports 45 minutes,
then 1,5 hours by car or taxi.
By train: From Helsinki via Joensuu to Nurmes 7,5 hours.
By bus: connections from all parts of Finland.
By car: road distance from Helsinki 550 km, from Joensuu, Kuopio and Kajaani 130 km.

Puu-Nurmes
Puu-Nurmes is an old, idyllic area of wooden houses
in the town centre on a beautiful ridge between Lakes Pielinen and Nurmesjärvi. Near by Nurmes-House.
